I believe that we humans can use our stories to heal ourselves and impact the world. That's why I do the things I do as a creative. I'm am actress and filmmaker. I'm the Co-Founder of The Blue House which is a social impact entertainment company. You can check out our films on Amazon Prime my searching "Dija Henry".
I'm also a mom of three unique kiddos and am raising my family with my husband in the midwest. I'm a diversity advocate as I'm working to raise awareness for second generation immigrants and people of color. I'm an Americorps alum and an M.S. Warrior. I also like watching super hero movies and romantic comedies before bed. In combination these movies help me to have dreams about saving the world with love.
I wrote I Dare You Not to Compare Yourself to Others because it's the book that I needed to read to help me stay out of the comparison trap. In a world where we are so exposed to what everyone is doing ALL THE TIME it can get overwhelming and frustrating while you build your little thing - whatever that is. It can be easy to compare yourself to others in your day to day life.
Your story is unique to you and you cannot afford to waste your time comparing yourself to others.
